The durable upper protects against abrasion and prevents dirt and small rocks getting into the running shoes whilst running. The tongue fits around the foot and, in combination with the precise lacing, ensures that the shoes are held securely in place. For optimum grip on steep terrain, the abrasion-resistant MaxTrac rubber compound is used.
